SJK(T) Mentakab

Tuan Wong Kah Woh, as Deputy Minister of Education, explained the Ministry of Education's policy regarding Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Tamil) SJK(T) schools with low enrollment, using SJK(T) Ladang Mentakab as an example. He stated that the policy is to either maintain the school at its current location based on local needs or relocate it to areas with higher demand.

Puan Hajah Salamiah binti Mohd Nor (Temerloh) highlighted the issue of Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Tamil) Ladang Mentakab, a 100-year-old school in a plantation that had requested relocation due to a lack of students, and urged the Ministry to address the matter.
