The Minister of Education, Puan Fadhlina binti Sidek, responded to issues concerning Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Tamil) SJK(T) in Segamat and other SJK(T)s, stating the Ministry of Education Malaysia's commitment to resolving issues related to relocation, dilapidated schools, building construction, and land.

The Minister of Education, Puan Fadhlina binti Sidek, addressed the status of SJK(T) Sungai Bakap's construction, stating it was delayed by court proceedings but KPM and the Ministry of Finance were seeking a solution. She also confirmed KPM's in-principle agreement to lease three acres of land to SJK(T) Ladang Jeram for new construction and pledged that SJK(T) Ladang Ketumbar would not be closed despite the plantation's closure.

Puan Fadhlina binti Sidek, the Minister of Education, clarified that vernacular schools, which include Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Tamil) SJK(T), are recognised under the Education Act and follow the Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia (KPM) curriculum, refuting accusations of them having different syllabuses or issues.

The Minister of Education, Puan Fadhlina binti Sidek, announced that Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Tamil) Heawood Perak was one of five new schools that commenced operations for the 2024/2025 school session.
