Puan Hajah Salamiah binti Mohd Nor (Temerloh) highlighted the issue of Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Tamil) Ladang Mentakab, a 100-year-old school in a plantation that had requested relocation due to a lack of students, and urged the Ministry to address the matter.

Puan Hajah Salamiah binti Mohd Nor (Temerloh) raised the issue of unpaved access roads at three Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Tamil SJK(T) schools: SJK(T) Anderson, Lanchang, SJK(T) Seri Semantan, and SJK(T) Ladang Mentakab.

The MP requested the Ministry to consider the importance of constructing paved roads for Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (Tamil) Semantan and SJKTN in Selanchang, an issue that had persisted for decades.

The MP for Temerloh raised the issue of SJK(T) Ladang, Mentakab, requesting the Ministry of Education to consider its relocation. The school, 100 years old and surrounded by a plantation, now serves students from outside areas, making its current location unsuitable.

Puan Hajah Salamiah binti Mohd Nor highlighted that several Tamil schools in her constituency, Temerloh, are severely affected by being categorised as schools with low enrolment (SKM) during the Budget 2025 debate.
